Man Ray, American surrealist artist

Man Ray (Emmanuel Radnitzky), né le 27 août 1890, à Philadelphie, États-Unis, mort le 18 novembre 1976, à Paris, France, est un peintre, photographe et réalisateur de films, acteur du dadaïsme à New York, puis du surréalisme à Paris.   Man Ray a passé la plus grande part de sa vie à Paris, notamment autour de Montparnasse . Une plaque rappelle qu'il fréquentait, comme Picabia et Duchamp, l'hôtel Istria. Il est mort à Paris et y est enterré, au cimetière du Montparnasse. [...
